Let's learn more about John who was selected as our 3rd quarter Spotlight member. John Robertson, a correction officer with the Florida Department of Corrections, took on a pivotal role within Chapter 28 starting November 3rd, 2023. Initially stepping in as vice president, John later found himself assuming the presidency under unique circumstances. His leadership has been marked by a concerted effort to revitalize the chapter, which had been dormant. John's initiatives have included organizing various activities such as gift card chances to win, community service events, and fundraisers aimed at supporting families. These efforts have not only bolstered community engagement but also contributed to a notable increase in membership within Chapter 28. Dedicated to steering Chapter 28 towards positive growth, John remains committed to his responsibilities as president. His vision and proactive approach reflect his determination to foster a vibrant and supportive environment within his career and the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency. |
